Ok... it's time to clear up a few gray areas.

Firstly, we believe that ALL types of hair from all peoples and regions of the world is gorgeous, beautiful, lovely, etc.

Each type of virgin hair has certain characteristics that makes it more or less desirable from person to person. But you do NOT have to be European, for example, to use European hair. Brazilian hair might meet your needs.

We MUST generalize only to classify the hair products. These are in no way statements about any group of people.

• Chinese and Malaysian Hair tends to be "weighty" with thick diameter, coarse strands. 
• Indian & Brazilian Hair tends to be light and versatile, with many different textures to match the largest groups of people. 
• European hair tends to have fine, thin strands and is available in the widest variety of natural colors. 

Of course, the characteristics vary from bundle to bundles because every person in the world is unique. 

The prices are based mainly on supply and demand--NOT ethnicity. The more rare, the more expensive.

On some of our drop ship items, you will notice we only have an option to select Remy Hair that is made from either Indian Hair or Chinese Hair.

That's because all other types are generally less common and therefore more expensive, so our company will ONLY process remy in another type of hair for wholesale requirements. As you might imagine, Remy European Hair could easily cost you 6x more than Remy Indian Hair, so it's a special item.

What is Remy Hair?

All hair starts off as "virgin" hair. It is cut from a donor, sorted, cleaned, & treated.

The cuticles are aligned on ALL of the Remy & Virgin hair we offer, so we don't consider that a feature to differentiate what makes remy hair remy.

The next factor is what really determines whether it will remain Virgin Hair or if it will become Remy hair--

• IF IT IS CHEMICALLY PROCESSED IN ANY WAY -- it is Remy.
• If NOT -- it is Virgin.

Yes, it's really that simple.

Sometimes, you may see the term "Virgin Remy" or "Remy Virgin" that just means the hair is closer to its virgin state and not that much color or texture treatment has been performed on it.

The MEGA Weft

On some items, like our Clip-In Hair Extensions,  you may see the term *MEGA* noted for the weft.

Our MEGA weft is actually 2 Machine-Tied wefts, sewn together to increase the volume of hair. This becomes very important when a lot of hair volume needs to be added without having to add a lot of hair extension wefts.

The MEGA weft will lay completely flat and does not stick out from the head.

It is important to note that as with any hair extension method, end users should make sure they have strong enough natural hair to support the weight of the added hair. Most users will not feel any weight difference when using the MEGA weft, but the final look is always beautifully noticeable!

What is a Hair Weft?

A weft is the area where the hair has been folded and tied together, so it can easily be attached for hair extensions. All of our wefts are made very tight, to prevent any of the hair slipping out from the weft, also called shedding. Still, the wefts are flexible enough to allow needles to easily pass during weaving installations.

Our wefts are 100% free of any harmful glues or chemicals and are completely safe for attachment to the natural hair.
